Mold Allergy Testing
A Mold Allergy test helps to tell if a person is allergic to mold.
The Mold Allergy test screens for IgE antibodies which the body produces in response to mold spores. Molds are likely breeding in areas that are damp or moist.
Normal symptoms a person may experience who has a mold allergy include runny nose, sneezing, cough, itchy or watery eyes, and skin rash. Asthmatic patients with wheezing, shortness of breath, or tightening of the chest experiences allergies more severely.
